Analyzing, designing, developing and supporting PL/SQL procedures and applications, including ETL process development, data cleansing, monitoring and validation.This position works on a team of 9 other technology professionals and reports to the OSBM Chief Information Officer. Java Frameworks utilized in OSBM include JSP/JDBC, Tiles/Struts/Spring/Hibernate for older applications and GWT/Spring/Hibernate for the new Integrated Budget Information System (for more information, see ). The position will also serve as a developer for Java Web Applications, under the guidance and direction of senior Java Developers. Legacy applications will be migrated from a Solaris to a Z-Linux environment over the coming year. The primary purpose of this position is to provide development and support of PL/SQL procedures and applications in Oracle 11g, primarily for the purpose of developing and maintaining automated ETL processes, scheduled data cleaning and maintenance routines, ad-hoc data transformations, imports, cleaning or reporting, and the support of various legacy PL/SQL-based web applications. The OSBM application portfolio includes numerous applications and databases implemented using a diverse set of technologies, including Java, Oracle PL/SQL, Microsoft Access, SAS Enterprise Guide, IBM Cognos and others. This position is responsible for performing PL/SQL and Java Application Development on the Technology and Data Services team within the Office of State Budget and Management (OSBM).
